Spring Table Decor: Airy, Wild and Ethereal

You may have noticed a trend in the past year with floral design: looser, more airy and overgrown, wild arrangements. Different varieties of flowers and sprigs of greenery, in a haphazard, almost random display – some tall, some short, some wide – is gaining popularity in centerpieces. I personally love this look and used the help of a local professional florist to create this beauty of arrangement for my spring table decor.

Another trend I utilized on this table was mismatched dinnerware with gray dinner plates and pink salad plates. They both are considered neutral colors and would play out well in many place settings throughout the year, not just spring.

Lots of greenery placed in different spots throughout the arrangement is one of the keys to making this look effortless.

Layering pink and gray ceramic dinnerware plays off the neutral tones in my spring table decor.
napkin knot
To keep the causal vibe in my spring table decor, I simply tied the pink floral block print napkins in knots and place them on the top left of the seagrass charger.

Napkins were the only linen on this table – no tablecloth or runner – which gives it a more natural and earthy vibe.

My white vinyl To Have + To Host sign is always part of my table inspiration and looks down on me lovingly.
bamboo flatware
Bamboo flatware that I received as a Christmas present has quickly become my favorite of the season. It’s super versatile and works well with all decor.

Colored blush glass tumblers are another detail I like to add to a table to give more depth and dimension.
