Easter Table Ideas and Blog Hop

It’s hard to imagine Easter without bunnies, much less tulips and eggs but here’s one of my Easter table ideas that elevates traditional decor by using mixed pastels and backyard florals for sophisticated decor that still feels festive. We usually host a large crowd for Easter every year, but this celebration will be a little different. Even though it will be a small group with immediate family only, that doesn’t mean your table can’t look fabulous. A friend of mine gifted these colored glass napkin rings to me. They are actually flower vases – the hollow ring can be filled with water and the opening is large enough for a short flower stem or sprig of greenery. How cute is that??

Would you believe the bright pink peonies are faux? The trick is finding high quality florals that have realistic blooms in different shapes and varying hues. Even in nature, flowers of the same variety don’t look exactly the same, so faux flowers shouldn’t either!

My trusty green glass goblets blend in well with the greenery here – another one of my Easter table ideas to think about. I like the little punch of color that these give.

Easter table ideas — Everything on this table was what I had already in my entertaining arsenal. Nothing was purchased, which makes me feel good about repurposing – much easier when you buy quality table items.

pastel plates — Using salad plates in different shades of pastels for each place setting, but keeping the dinner plate and placemat the same, creates continuity throughout the table, yet fun character as well.

wisteria decor — Wisteria from my backyard garden ramada sits daintily in the flower vase napkin rings and have such a light, fragrance that doesn’t overpower any food I will serve.

I hope I’ve given you some fun Easter table ideas that you can use for your home and proves that you don’t need to buy an entire new set of table decor to make it look sophisticated and presentable.
