Holiday Hosting at Home: Fall Decor, Tablescapes and Entertaining Ideas

One of the best parts of blogging has been finding such a supportive community and forming new friendships. Along the way, I have met two very talented ladies that share the same passion for hosting friends and families in our homes and, like me, are dedicated to bringing back the art of entertaining. After talking to both them, we realized that we were all raised in families that entertained regularly – this was such a special connection – it’s truly in our blood! In light of sharing the same passions, we are collaborating to bring together a new blog hop: Holiday Hosting at Home. We’re showing you creative and inspirational ideas for hosting in your own homes for the holidays.

Home with Holliday

Holliday’s table setting here shows how you can use brown, white and cream pumpkins for a lovely Fall ambiance. Magnolia leaves and eucalyptus sprigs add some beautiful natural greenery to the palate. I especially love how she has used natural cotton spheres on each plate! For her coffee table, Holliday shows how to bring the outside indoors with branches from her chokecherry tree and pinecones from the ground. This gorgeous transitional tablescape takes advantage of neutral colors to create a table that’s perfect all Fall and Winter long. Sage green dishes, white dishes, tan gingham napkins, and wicker placemats and napkin rings lend themselves beautifully to this pretty table. For Holly’s amazing outdoor French country-themed brunch, she used beautiful blue and white dishes on her custom farm table complete with coordinating bistro chairs. To Have + To Host

For this stunning harvest supper table, I incorporated traditional autumn decor, like wooden and glass pumpkins, dinnerware adorned with Fall leaves, fresh plum-hued florals and linens in jewel tones. Fall produce means figs, apples, grapes, pears, plums, artichokes, eggplant, pomegranates, and Brussel sprouts. Not only are these delicious, but they are beautiful and can really enhance your tablescape. It’s easy to integrate Fall produce as table decor.
