If you like to change your table settings each season and scour Pinterest for holiday tabletop decor inspiration like me, this post is for you. I’ve done the work for you with these 6 beautiful tablescapes – one of which is sure to match your style, or whatever theme you choose this year! I’ve even given some tips on how to recreate these, some with a little DIY elbow grease. Make it pretty, my friends . . .
Farmhouse Homestead
This looks like a Magnolia Farm table to me, simple and pretty, making it easy to do something similar. Long pine and berry branches adorn the silver pineapple vase while fresh cranberries and rosemary sprigs are spread out on the runner. Here’s a similar mercury glass vase $26 and red stripe linen table runner $24 and matching napkins $16. Mercury glass votives are everywhere. Marshall’s or At Home are great sources, but if you want them delivered, here’s an option, 12 for $20.
Gold, Silver and All Glam
This is super sparkly and full of glitz, definitely not the traditional red and green holiday table. But, if you need a New Years Eve table, this Z Gallerie-design could absolutely double for both. The gold glass chargers (4 for $56) are on sale and I found these pretty gold gilded rim plates ($12 each) on sale too! You know I love a fab napkin ring, and these are perfect to achieve this glam table silver and gold cluster napkin rings. $5
Mad for Plaid
Traditional red Tartan plaid is such a classic table setting and I am a sucker every time I see one. Fun fact: One year, I stalked my local Williams Sonoma store every day for 10 days until their display table linens went on sale. My family was mortified, but my persistence paid off. Bed, Bath & Beyond has good prices on their linens and you can usually find a coupon to download. Add an artificial (or real!) garland, some apples from your fridge, and pinecones from your backyard for your centerpiece. The Santa plates look vintage, but I like these reindeer plates for this table setting!
A Woodland Critter Feast
Ok, how cute is this table?? So fun, especially if you’re hosting lots of little ones this year. There’s very little glass and breakables, so it’s pretty safe for wandering hands and curious little stinkers. Consider using woodsy paper placemats 12 for $27 or tree rings ($20 each) as chargers. Birch candles are easy to find. I like these flameless taper candles and LED pillar candles because they be can be reused and there’s no fire hazard. Check out these sources for the darling wooden animals: foxes with scarves 2 for $24, gold fiber owl $12, white ice birds 2 for $11, squirrel with hat $12. For extra festive details, add bottle brush trees 3 for $10.
White Out
Sometimes you just don’t want any color, and that’s okay. If simple, clean and minimal are what you’re feeling this winter, this tablescape is for you! Start with a white tablecloth and a subtle metallic silver foil table runner $29, along with silver charger plates 4 for $10. Use a string of frosted globe fairy lights for a special glow and place frosted tree candles down the center for height. Add a few silver votives and voila – you’ve just created a white winter wonderland!
Dark & Moody
Far from traditional, this tablescape totally caught my eye. I love the romantic, mysterious winter vibe it gives off. If you like the colors but want to add a bit more holiday flair to it, add some pines and berries to the foliage. Navy and gold dominate this tablescape, which is very unexpected for the holidays, but I dig it. Celestial blue plates $12, atop metal gold chargers $39, and matte gold flatware 5-piece set for $39, are out of this world. You could find a vintage brass bowl on Etsy, or here’s a link for a new antiqued brass footed bowl $79.
